I rented a transporter camper van for the bank holiday weekend and genuinely had the best weekend! The van is absolutely spot on; everything works perfectly and it will make a camping trip effortless!
The booking process is simple and easy and Sean is very professional. Highly recommend!

Wow! Cannot recommend this company enough. We had been let down by another camper van company and Carefree Campers certainly stepped in to help us out. Sean was always responsive to our queries and we feel he went over and above in order to help us make our first holiday in a motorhome a reality.

Due to the very last-minute booking we had to make, there were one or two hurdles but Sean’s response to these was just first class. Customer service is obviously a top priority to Carefree Campers.
We eventually went away in Big Ben and loved it so much – we didn’t want to give it back! It was so comfortable, well equipped and a dream to drive. Sleeping arrangements were fantastic and our 3 and 8 year olds slept brilliantly – as did we!

We have already recommended Carefree Campers to everyone who has asked about our trip away and we are already planning when we can go away again.

Just returned from a fabulous Carefree Campers adventure on the beautiful Gower Peninsula in (sometime sunny, sometimes flippin’ cold) Wales.

It was our first experience of a campervan and it worked really well for us. Setup was easy, the van was amazing and had everything we needed.

Ben enjoyed sleeping in the roof and waking up to the views too.  Bring on the next trip

I was Tenzing Norgay to Edi’s trip to Glastonbury 2019. We worked so well as a team with Sean (the owner) back at basecamp making sure everything worked so we summited without a single problem. Brilliant Campervan, beautifully converted and a joy to drive. Plus…the tent and awning gave us shelter and privacy and the fact we able to tow a small trailer full scenery and costumes for my one man show made it an even more perfect adventure. 2020…Glasto here I come!

I hired a camper for a surprise birthday adventure and it exceeded all of my expectations. Pick up was hassle free, the van was spotless and fully equipped with all we would need for our adventure to the Chilterns. Sean was on hand to answer any questions we had throughout. Just back from a lovely 4 day trip in the VW camper. We took the family down to Durdle Door in Dorset.  The van met all our expectations, well equipped and very clean. Everything explained for us, we had no problems at all working the van, gas and water is all very simple.  We also took the awning which as first timers putting one up and attaching to the van we actually found straight forward ( you tube videos are wonderful ) and it offered much welcome space for bedding and bags.  Can’t wait for our next trip away!

Sean’s campervan is a high quality, thoughtfully designed conversion, with all the latest mod cons – quality beds, cooking heating, lighting and sound system. Storage space was surprisingly good, and it drives like a dream. Sean is a thoughtful host who communicated clearly, and did everything he could to make things easy for us. One small downside for us – the beds, while top of the range, were a bit firm for our liking so we will take a mattress topper if we hire it again. Thanks for a lovely weekend.
